Junior Cricket

Leamington are a Club mark club and we adhere to the ‘Safe Hands’ Policy for Safeguarding Children in Cricket. All of the adults at the club who work with children and meet the necessary criteria are vetted by the ECB. This includes the enhanced DBS and ‘Barred List’ check (formerly known as CRB )

BPS are a very strong supporter of local sports clubs and their support will enable us to keep improving our junior section as well as our work in the community and with local schoolsYouth & Junior Cricket

We have expanded our Summer training this year offering a 14 week coaching programme for boys and girls aged between 6-16yrs.

Minis (mixed) for ages 6/7 (school years 1 & 2) will run from 5pm – 6pm Friday's
Boys junior training ages 8-13 and girls softball will run from 6pm -7.30pm Fridays
Girls softball training will take place 6pm- 7.30pm Fridays
Women/Girls hardball training will take place Wednesdays 6pm – 7.30pm
Boys ages 14/15/16 will take place Wednesdays 6pm- 7.30pm

There will be a meet and greet for all Junior parents and players on Friday 27th April 2018 from 6pm. This will be an opportunity to meet the coaches and ask any questions about training or games, the bar will be open and the usual BBQ will be available.Warwick Sports will also be at the club with playing and training kit.

Warwickshire Premier games (Under 13s/Under15s) will be played on a Sunday Morning
Under 11s games will be played on a Monday evening 6pm
Girls cricket matches will be played on a Sunday afternoon
All other age group games are not fixed days.

In case of bad weather and / or doubtful ground conditions, please refer to the Club website or our new youth section twitter page  @LeamCCYouth for up-to-date information. Managers will also be adding match reports and items of interest to the youth twitter throughout the season so please make sure you follow.
