Match report A nail-biting win over Walmley in the rain and gloom in Sutton Coldfield!

Leamington's total of exactly 100 looked decent, though once again the batsmen failed to put sufficient pressure on the fielders and allowed too many dot balls. Mark Best made 31 - though not at his best and Dexter Purser 27*.

Walmley blazed away in reply, in particular through McKay who made 43, taking a particular liking to Josh De Souza. Nick Couzens and Dexter Purser slowed down the run rate, the former taking three excellent wickets including McKay, and aided by two run outs, prssure built on Walmley. Tom Davison, on his return from injury bowled magnificently at the death, and with Charlie Bramley taking the final wicket, Walmley were bowled out for 93.
