Match report A disappointing defeat for Leamington in a tight contest at Olton on Sunday.

Inserted on a slow wicket, Leamington made a steady progress against some good bowling, and were reasonably satisfied with a total of 127 - 8 in 25 overs. Raaval Bains top scored with 29, supported by Dan Mills (22) and Stuart Budd (20). Olton fielded well throughout with a number of good catches taken.

Under pressure for the first time this season, Leamington's seam attack held Olton in check, and the hosts needed almost 9 an over at one stage. The wheels fell off however for Leamington wth two catches dropped, and a number of overthrows resulting from failing to 'do the basics'. Olton squeezed home with two balls to go reaching 128 - 7.
