Match report Leamington returned to form at Arlington Avenue with a comprehensive win over Warwickshire Champions Sutton Coldfield.

Asked to bat first, Leamington's batsmen put Sutton under pressure taking many quick singles, and putting away the bad ball efficiently. Sutton were sloppy in the field dropping a handful of catches of varying difficulty. Josh Emery made 31 and Josh Boorman (dropped on nought) 36, ably supporting captain Dan Mills who anchored the early innings with a fine 55. Berry was the pick of Sutton's bowlers taking 2 for 29 as Leamington closed on a daunting 193 for 6 in 25 overs.

In response, Sutton found Leamington's attack too hot to handle and they subsided to 48 for 5 as Joe Jones took 2 for 24, and Will Field 3 for 22. The Spa change bowlers maintained the stranglehold, backed up by an improved fielding display. There was one victim apiece for Joseph Somra, Paul Lawrence and Guntash Gill, and consecutive wickets for Tom Howard saw Sutton dismissed for 120 in the 24th over.
