Match report Leamington lost the toss and were inserted by Henley and lost James Cowan David Hawkes and Skipper for the day Mark Davison cheaply, the innings was then rebuilt by firstly Rob Ainscow who scored a fluent 26 whilst with Joe Somra and then Liam Killian. They put on 117 before Liam departed for a hard hitting quick fire 78. Joe continued his patient Innings with Ben Cowan who scored a quick 20 before falling himself for a well made 40 late runs from the tail meant we scored a competitive 235 for 8.

In response the opening attack of Dan Macathay and Matt Davison were faced with some very unorthodox batting but kept it tight with Matt and Dan taking early wickets, however their opener stayed and slowly rebuilt their innings before the weather started to threaten the outcome with one eye on the weather and ensuring 25 overs were bowled Mark Davison and Ben Cowan raced through their overs whilst keeping Henley behind the run rate, wickets continued to fall with Dan and Lee credginton taking one each which then left Joe Somra to come on and take 4 quick wickets to finish Henleys resistance off and left us ahead of the run rate when the rain came in the 43 rd over a with Henley 210-9 a good win in difficult circumstances and at last the skipper broke his losing streak. Mention also for Chris Calcutt who kept very well in difficult conditions.
