Match report A thumping win over a callow Elmley Castle side, maintained Leamington's position in the promotion picture.

Batting first on a wicket with some variable bounce, Leamington's blistering start was due entirely to the fireworks emanating from the blade of Liam Killian. He laid down his marker in the second over hitting two enormous sixes. He passed 50 in the 8th over, accompanied by the more measured Shaun Williams, and careered on to his century of only 51 balls, with 18 4s and 3 6s. He holed out on the boundary for 107, and Elmley applied the brakes to some extent. Williams was now finding his timing, and he was joined by 13 year old Henry Mortimer, the pair adding an undefeated 108 in 13 overs. Williams was unbeaten on 82 off 80 balls, whilst Mortimer made a fantastic 42* off only 33 balls. Leamington took tea on 293 - 5.

Elmley made a cautious start, reaching 32 - 2. This is when the wheels fell off as Lee Credgington bowling with pace and accuracy, took a hat-trick, all clean bowled. Gary Bass then took two in two at the start of the next over and suddenly Elmley were 32 - 7! Steve Axcell mopped up the tail as Elmley were skittled for 45 in the 16th over. Credgington took 4 for 22, Bass 3 for 14, and Axcell 2 for 1, in what was a mismatch in all truth.
