Choosing to bat first, top of the table Berkswell lost their opener run out in the first over to an excellent direct hit from Tom Boorman. A further early wicket to Louis Glover and the removal of danger man Awais Mohammed by Ben Beresford for only 14 left Leamington well placed. A 91 run stand followed and one more run out again by Tom Boorman saw Berkswell reach 120 for 4 off their 25 overs. All 8 bowlers did their job well today and were backed up by solid fielding.

In reply, Joe Smith got the innings off to a good start with 22 and a brisk 19 from Tom Boorman helped keep Leamington up with the rate. Coming in at number 4, Louis Glover played a high quality innings of 52 not out and Oliver Horswill hit the winning run to win by 6 wickets with 5 overs to spare. With 3 games to go the team are in the mix for the title.
