Match report The Under 12 team continued it's winning run this week, with a somewhat nervy win against Kenilworth at Arlington Avenue on Monday. Losing the toss, Leamington were asked to bowl first and the opening bowlers soon made inroads into the opposition line up. Sajan Heer and Kieran Braden-Brown soon had Kenilworth at 15 for 3 after 4 overs, which was even further improved on by Ben Killian and Glesni Caitlin, who maintained the pressure and restricted the score after 8 overs to 23 for 5.the remaining bowlers maintained the pressure with a wicket a piece for Charlie Wollaston and Joyal John, with the opposition reaching 52 for 7 off their 20 overs. Jody once again had an excellent game behind the stumps which included a very smart stumping off Kieran.

in the 2nd innings, Leamington struggled against some accurate bowling. Kenilworth took control of the game reducing Leamington to 21 for 5 off 9 overs. at which point, Sajan Heer was joined by Ted Bromwich and between them, they increased the scoring rate and took the score upto 36 for 6 when Ted was bowled. Oscar Lawson joined Sajan and they finished the job in style, reaching the target off 14.3 overs.

overall a really evenly fought match with the opposition playing some excellent cricket. an enjoyment (If a little nervy) game all around.
