Leamington Women & Girls Workshop Day

Friday 30th July 2021

To celebrate and build on the success of Leamington CC’s women and girls’ section, sponsored by Leamington law firm Blythe Liggins, which has doubled this summer to almost 40 members, the club is holding an extra all day workshop at the end of its regular coaching season.

Existing members, friends of members and in particular mums of junior members are all welcome - if you have ever wanted to play cricket, or try your hand at it, come to the club and have a go!

The workshop is open to women and girls aged eight upwards, with the club’s fully-trained female coaches leading the sessions as part of an action-packed day which will run from 10am until 3.30pm.

Existing hardball players will be offered additional skills coaching and development (for example bowling machine practice with a coach, fielding drills, etc) whilst those new to hardball, whether parent or child, will be led from start to finish during the day by coaches keen to see them learn and develop.  If you are a mum who wants to play with their daughter, or find out if cricket is for them, now is the chance!

Leamington will be running U13 and Women's hardball teams in leagues in 2022 - again, for more, ask at the club.

The workshop will cost £15 for the day - to book online please click HERE

Further details of timing, coaching schedule to be forwarded nearer the day itself.  Any queries please contact Marie at leamgirlscricket@hotmail.com
