The bowlers soon set about the Moseley batsmen on a helpful wicket with most of the bowlers taking wickets.
Unusually all the Moseley wickets were catches, with Henry Mortimer taking 4 behind the stumps.
Notable bowling performances in particular were from JacK Bromwich and Thomas Power

Jack and Tom bowled extremely good lines and lengths and well deserved their excellent figures.
Jack especially got a consistent away movement and troubled all the batsmen.

What could have been a tricky score to chase on a helpful wicket was soon despatched by an unbroken opening partnership between Robert Lord 39 NO and Louis Glover 15 NO. Fantastic all round performance with excellent catches and fielding never let Moseley get a foothold in the game.
