     REGISTRATION FOR THE JUNIOR SUMMER PROGRAMME 2024 WILL OPEN ON SUNDAY 25th FEBRUARY*******


Leamington are a Club mark club and we adhere to the ‘Safe Hands’ Policy for Safeguarding Children in Cricket. All of the adults at the club who work with children and meet the necessary criteria are vetted by the ECB. This includes the enhanced DBS and ‘Barred List’ check (formerly known as CRB )


Leamington CC are grateful for the continued support of local firm Building and Plumbing Supplies. BPS are a very strong supporter of local sports clubs and their support will enable us to keep improving our junior section as well as our work in the community and with local schools Youth & Junior Cricket. Also thanks to Martin & Co Estate Agents for their continued support and Blythe Liggins who are generously supporting our girls/ women's section again for 2024




Junior Summer training 2024 will consist of a 14 week programme running from Friday 3/5/24 until Friday 2/8/24. 

Minis ( Mixed) for ages 6/7 school years 1 & 2 will run 5.20-6.20pm on a Friday cost £100

Mixed Junior training U8, U9, U10, U11 & U12 will run from 6.30-8pm Fridays cost £130

Mixed Training U13, U14,U15 & U16 will take place 6.30-8pm Monday nights cost £130

Girls training will take place 6.30-8pm Thursday nights cost £130

Students ages 17/18 Train with seniors Tuesday night cost £85

Registration will be via an online form which will be emailed out on Sunday 25/2/24, please don’t try to register prior to this date. The summer programme is hugely popular and likely to be sold out and over subscribed please get any applications back as soon as possible as no places can be guaranteed and will be offered on a first come basis for fairness. An email will be sent if you have been successful along with a welcome letter containing all relevant information you may need , hopefully this will answer any questions you have but please feel free to email

MATCHES


Warwickshire Premier games (Under 13s/Under15s) will be played on a Sunday Morning

 

Women & Girls cricket matches will typically be played on a Sunday afternoon


All other age group games are not fixed days.

Full details of dates / times of matches and squads will be available via the relevant age group managers.

WET WEATHER


In case of bad weather and / or doubtful ground conditions, please refer to the Club website or our new youth section twitter page  @LeamCCYouth for up-to-date information. Managers will also be adding match reports and items of interest to the youth twitter throughout the season so please make sure you follow.



ECB Guidelines & Directives


The Club follows the Guidelines and Directives set down and reviewed by the ECB. All relevant material can be found under the policies section on the front page of our website.


Coaches, parents and players should familiarise themselves with the ECB current requirements in the following ;Fast Bowling Directives , Fielding Regulations,  Juniors in Open Age Group, Participation of girls in boys cricket.
