Match report A poor performance by the IIIs saw them slip to their 2nd Cotswold Hills Div I defeat. On Winning the toss Leamington chosing to bowl first and Ashton amassed a steady 224-7 off their 45 overs, opener Pearce slogged 56 and was well supported by Glazier 45no. Pick of the Spa bowlers was young off spinner Nick Couzens who returned figures of 10-2-46-3.
In reply Leamington lost both openers early and only David Lord 21, Gus Grieve 15 and James Cowan 29no(Yet to be dismissed) offered any resistance before the innings closed on 120 all out. Overall a dissapointing result and much improvement needed for the coming weeks.
