Richard Swann (24) and Simon Magill (39) put the bad ball away but both got out whilst well set. Skipper James Uddin came and went to leave the score on a rather precarious 93-5. However, youngsters Darrel Williams (35) and Dexter Purser (25) put together a very mature partnership of 45 and along with some late order hitting got the total up to 178ao.
Having bowled out Leamington in the 39th of 43 overs, Kidderminster had 47 overs to chase the modest target. Excellent opening bowling by Haasan Dar and young Tom Davison put immediate pressure on the batsmen and when James Uddin came on the scoring had virtually stopped. Wickets fell to Dar (2-54)Uddin (2-14)Jack Hawkes (2-14)(Including 1 wicket with an unplayable ball that pitched on leg and clipped the top of off), also some excellent leg spin from Darrel Williams went unrewarded.
