Leamington Cricket Club 3rd XI v Catherine de Barnes on Sat 21 May 2011 at 1.30
Leamington Cricket Club Won by 2 wickets

Match report Another good victory on Saturday saw the III's beat Catherine de Barnes by 2 wickets. Fielding first on a good wicket Leamington restricted thier visitors to 225-8 off 45 overs, probabley 20-3- runs short of a par total. Tight bowling by Lee Credge, Asad Ullah, Rob Grant and Pardeep Kumar enabled youngster Will Field to enter the attack and take all of the glory. 3 wickets in his first over and eventual figures of 4-30 off 6 overs strangled any late over flurry CdB mmight have been looking for.
In reply Leam got off to a poor start and found themselves 116-6 with only Rob Ainscow taking advantage of good batting conditions with a flashy 45. Batting at 8 Pardeep entered the crease and blitzed a great 81 consisting mainly of 4s & 6s and took the game away from the visitors so much so that the game was won with 5 overs to spare. Paredeep was abley supported by anchorman Will Field and the game finsished off with a 6 from young Asad. Great victory clutched from the jaws of defeat.
