Match report A poor batting performace by the 3s on Saturday saw them relinquish top spot. Bowling first on a good track Leamington restricted FISSC to 200 all out in the 44th over. Outstanding bowling from young Paul Lawrence saw him finish with figures of 10-0-47-4 he was well supported by Pardeep 2-27 off 9 and Will Field 6.4-0-26-1.
Chasing this modest total turned out to be a difficult task in the face some accurate bowling and at 62-4 thing looked bleak. A stand of 70 between Colin Grant and David Lord looked to be turning the tide in Leamingtons favour but the dismasal of Grant for 46 saw the last 5 wickets fall for just 30 runs. Not good enough in short but a return fixture of FISSC away gives Leamington a chance to strike back.
