Tanworth & Camp Hill v Leamington Cricket Club 3rd XI on Sat 11 Aug 2012 at 13:30
Leamington Cricket Club Won by 5 Wickets
Match report
With victories still required to assure safety the IIIs travelled to Tanworth in good spirits having defeated their hosts at home early in the season.
Bowling first Leam restricted Tanworth to 118-9 thanks to a great spell from slow left armer Wayne Killian who finished with figures of 10-5-12-5. He was well backed up by the rest of the bowlers Asad, Jase Butler, Gaz Strangwood, Dave Lord and I suppose Liam Killian. Wicket keeper Will Dixon also picked up a stumping and 2 catches.
In reply Ainscow 16 and Bewick 34 got Leam off to a good start but with a middle order wobble saw Leam lose 2 wickets for 11 runs and it was left to old timers Killian and Lord to anchor the innings home with 32 & 18 not out respectively.
