Match report Leamington 1st XI traveled to Kidderminster in what proved to be the only match to get any play at all in the Birmingham League Premier Division.

With conditions remarkably dry, Leamington batted first in a match reduced to 51 overs aside. However, sure enough, after two overs the rain came and the players were off till 4 o'clock. On resumption, there was a maximum of 44 overs remaining in the day and due to there not being enough overs played in the day, the game was classified as abandoned with both sides playing for bonus points. At the end of play, Leamington finished on 202-4 off 46 overs picking up 8 points to Kidderminster's 6. For Leamington, Mark Best (42), Alex Phillips (50), Tom Lewis (25), Paul Best (26*) and Lee Hopkins (39*) made sure Leamington reached 200 and a third batting point.
