Match report Leamington could only secure a losing draw at home to Knowle & Dorridge.

K&D bartthed first on a good wicket, though the outfield remained damp throughout. Their innings was built round an imperious display from Alec Baker, who carried his bat through 50 overs, richly deserving his mammoth 158*. He was well-supported by Myers who made 28, and Leamington's fielding was not out of the top drawer, as K&D closed on an imposing 256 for 7 in 50 overs. Darrel Wlliams was the pick of the Spa attack with 3 for 71.

Leamington lost two early wickets, but Williams and Ben Howard battled hard as K&D sought to drive home their advantage. Howard fell after drinks for 48, and Williams made a gutsy 27 as K&D moved towards victory. They were thwarted by Gaz Strangwood whose 23* saw Leamington to safety on 137 for 7, with some ease.
