HARBORNE v Leamington Cricket Club Sunday XI on Sun 21 Apr 2013 at 2.00PM
Leamington Cricket Club Won By 5 wickets

Match report On Sunday, Leamington launched their ECB T20 campaign at Harborne. Despite fine spells from Paul Rowe and Olly Williams, Harborne made 153 – 5 in their 20 overs. This looked a decent total even on a ground with ridiculously short straight boundaries. Leamington were under the cosh from the off and were soon 70 for 5. However this allowed Neil Smith to join Lee Hopkins who had patiently passed the 30 mark. After a couple of sighters, Smith set about the attack, clearing the boundary at will. His 76* came of only 22 balls, including 10 sixes and 2 fours, and made an early claim for knock of the season. Hopkins made 45* as Leamington skated past Harborne’s total with almost three overs to spare.
