Leamington Cricket Club 3rd XI v Earlswood on Sat 29 Aug 2015 at 13.30
Leamington Cricket Club Won by 6 wickets

Match report As the Everitt brothers, Karl (113) and Leon (61) were building their 183 run partnership they must have thought that they were taking the game beyond Leamington’s reach. They had come together with the score at 47-3 after Dan McCarthy (3-36) had taken wickets in three successive overs to set back a sound Earlswood start. After Leon had departed, skipper Windeatt (23*) joined Karl in a four-over flourish which yielded 38 runs, the innings closing at 268-5. The Leamington batsmen took up the challenge and maintained a required run rate from the earliest overs. At 43-2, Wayne Killian (129*) joined Jack Bewick (41) and the pair added 120 in just 16 overs. After Bewick’s dismissal, David Lord gave Killian patient support as he continued to plunder the wilting Earlswood attack with controlled aggression, in a 76 runs 10 over partnership. For the final six overs, in the gathering gloom, skipper Matt Dale replaced Lord as Leamington eased home with seven balls to spare.
