Leamington Cricket Club 4th XI v Earlswood 3rd XI on Sat 09 May 2015 at 13.30
Leamington Cricket Club Won by 83 Runs
Match report
Leamington fourth team coasted to a victory over Earlswoof third string on Saturday.
Leamington made a good start through Shaun Williams and Robert Lord who both passed 20 but were then dismissed. A typical mid-innings wobble brought Earlswood into the frame, but groundsman Anthony Kilroy set about restoring order. He made exactly 100, and received good support from George Hollingsworth (32*) as Leamington notched 245 - 9. For Earlswood Tyler Davisdon took 6 for 43, possibly the best figures for a female bowler in Cotswold League history!!
Earlswood never threatened Leamington's total as Lord and Cameron Mitchell took early wickets. Kilroy returned to the limelight with four victims, as Earlswood struggled in the middle order. A spirited, undefeated, 40 for Ryan Moore saw Earlswood end on 162 - 8.
