Match report Leamington hosted Corley for this weeks Arden League fixture.
After being asked to field first for a second week running, Leamington took regular wickets to bowl their visitors out for 193. The ever reliable Muhammed Dogar was again pick of the bowlers taking 3-39, but he was ably supported by Puneet Arora and Karan Patra who both took two wickets each. The main resistance from Corley was provided by Jonpaul McGrane who played well for his 49.
Leamington made a brisk start in response, with all rounders Jonathan Wigley, 39, and Paul Lawrence, 38, both making good contributions. However, McGrane managed to keep Corley in the game with his off spin bowling returning figures of 5-29 off eight overs. Unfortunately for Corley, there was little support coming from the other end as Tom Mackrill guided Leamington to a five wicket victory with a well paced 46 not out.
Leamington will look to carry their good form into next Sunday which sees them travel to Walsall.
