A Superb all round performance from every member fo the team produced another win for the U12 team against Kenilworth CC. Batting first, Leamington came out fo the blocks firing well with Jody (20), Kieran (15) and Yuvraj (30 Retired) all pushing the scoring along with some lusty blows mixed in with intelligent placement and running. Leamington continued this theme throughout the innings with some late runs for Laura and Charlie. Leamington finished their innings on 107 for 5.
In the second innings, opening bowlers James Hawkins (2 for 0 off 2) and Archie Maggs, (2 for 1 off 2) had Kenilworth in disarray within the first 4 overs, taking 4 wickets before the opposition had scored a run!!!!

The rest of the team continued to take wickets, with 2 for Joe Scott, and 1 each for Charlie, Will and Yuvraj, supported by some great fielding and catching, the innings finished with Kenilworth all out for 53 off 15.2 overs.
Overall, it was a superb performance all around. What was really pleasing to see was the way the whole team (including the 4 players Kieran, Archie, Joe and Laura - playing their first match for the team) supported each other and worked together so well. Well done to everyone!!
