Match report Another super performance by everyone in the team resulted in a convincing win against Star Alvis on a cold and windy evening at Arlington Avenue.

Batting first, everyone in the team contributed to a first innings total of 162 for 2, with James, Yuvraj, Ben and Sajan all retiring having scored 30 runs or more. Some very good shots were aided by clever calling and running, giving the team a super total to defend.

In the Star Alvis innings, Opening Bowlers, Glesni Caitlin and James Rigby (both playing their first game for the team), bowled straight and full and were rewarded with 1 wicket and 4 wickets respectively. The game was finished within 6.5 overs, with Ben finishing off with 3 wickets to close the game out. The opposition continued to bat throughout the 20 overs to give everyone a game, with some further excellent bowling and some great catches (James Pagan and Glesni in particular took great catches) giving everyone a bit more match practise.

Once again, a great overall performance, especially pleasing to see both James and Glesni supported by the rest of the team and both making a significant contribution to the game. Well done to everyone who played!!!!
