The comfortable winning margin doesn't tell the full story as we were precariously placed at 53 for 6 after 9 overs after a plethora of rash shots led to a collapse. Cameron Mitchell held the innings together with an accomplished 27 not out and with useful contributions from the lower order and numerous wides from the Stratford bowlers meant we set a competitive total.

The bowling and fielding yet again came to the rescue and all the bowlers exploited the green wicket with good lines and lengths to keep the Stratford batsman struggling. Stratford never got a foothold in the game and at 42 for 5 after 14 overs there was no way back.

Jacob Mauchlen decimated the tail and returned exceptional figures of 3 for 5, whilst Henry Mortimer snaffled 4 victims, 2 caught and 2 stumped.

It was a great team effort in the field with a fantastic supportive attitude.
