Match report A very pleasing all round team effort. Batting first, Leamington made a steady start reaching 32-0 off 8 overs, both bowlers for Highway bowling with good control. However, impetus was injected by the hard hitting duo of Toby Inskip(32) and Jon Wigley(43). Together they enabled a final 20 over total of 134-6.
In reply the spin of Nick Couzens (2-20) and Dexter Purser (3-13) stifled a spirited Highway batting effort. Tom Davison captured 2 more wickets and young Jack Bewick followed up his Man of the Match performance against Pak Shaheen with a wicket a catch and a run out!! Thanks also to Alex Proudaman and Lewis Dodds for playing at the very last moment.
