Match report A comfortable win over a young, but very talented, Standard side. Leamington had first use of a good wicket and made a sound start passing 50, before Joe Somra was caught behind. Josh Emery was out next ball, playing an injudicious heave, so captain Tom Howard steadied the ship. He was joined by Paul Lawrence, after Gill departed, caught & bowled. Howard was bowled for 44, and Jack Webber's cameo ensured a challenging total.

New find Henry Stryder took three wickets in a fine opening spell, and although Standard battled hard in mid-innings, Leamington rang the changes, and began to whittle out the middle order. Paul Lawrence took two, and the Gill's seemingly innocuous medium pace, secured a hat-trick, courtesy of two catches from 'keeper Will Dixon. Danny Mills provided the coup de grace, as Leamington won by exactly 100 runs with an over to spare.
