Leamington Cricket Club Under 13 v Kings Heath on Thu 08 Jul 2010 at 6.00pm Main Ground
Leamington Cricket Club Won
Match report
Leamington became Warwickshire County champions with an excellent win against a strong Kings Heath side.
Batting first Freeman and Boorman both made their 30's in good time with some sublime driving and placement. George Nicholls kept the impetus with a fine 25 before a mid innings collapse slowed the scoring rate.
The best fielding performance of the season saw some excellent catching, in particular 2 from Rickard, to keep a steady flow of wickets. Spin twins Wilson and Rickard taking 2 each. Kings Heath bowled out for 89 and Leamington through to face Oxfordshire in the County play offs.
