Match report Seven-man Moseley Ashfield were no match for Leamington on a benign wicket at Warwick School.

Leamington batted first and found scoring very easy against Ashfield's threadbare attack. Harry Philpot made a breezy 34, allowing Dan McCarthy to join James Cowan. Nominally fast bowlers, but recovering from injury, both Spa men flayed the bowling to all parts, in a partnership worth 275. McCarthy went for 105, his second century of the season, whilst Cowan's landmark innings was sealed with a huge straight six, taking him to 200 not out. Leamington declared on 362 - 3.

Ashfield's response was based around the obdurate Bourne who made 42, before being bowled by Philpot. All Leamington's bowlers struggled on the easy paced wicket, and Ashfield appeared to be heading towards a draw, but eventually their innings closed on 70 - 5, giving Leamington a win by 292 runs. Lewis Baker took two wickets and Paul Lawrence 1.
