Match report A low scoring affair at the picturesque Henley in Arden saw the III's sneak home by 2 wickets. On what you would call a sporting wicket Henley won the toss and decided to bat first.

In the face of some accurate bowling and a lot of interesting and agricultural cricket strokes Henleys innings never really got going and they lost wickets at regular intervals. Off spinner Matt Sellars did the bulk of the damage finishing with figures of 4-32 off his 10 overs. He was ably supported by Matt & Tom Davison who took 2-26 and 2-20 respectively and the tail was wrapped up by old stager Dave Hawkes who finished with 2-6 off 2.2 overs. Leamingtons catching was excellent with Liam Killian 3 and Connor Grant 2 taking more catches than runs scored this week. On a an uneven wicket keeper Chris Calcot did an excellent job and bagged 2 victims himself. Henley closed on 120 all out 36.2 overs

Chasing a relatively low total was never going to be a straightforward affair and Henleys opening bowler Nutta finished an inspired spell with figures of 10-6-8-4 and bowled with good pace and accuracy. Having done well to see of this spell Leamington were well placed at 47-7 to close the game out !!!!!!! As the 8th wicket fell this brought Matthew Davison to the crease with a mere 49 more runs needed for victory. With the game in the balance Gaurav and Little Davo guided the IIIs home with a mixture of singles and the occasional boundary and 2 huge maximums from Gaurav who finished on a measured 41 not out.

The IIIs have 2 home games to look forward to with the visit of Warwickshire County Council first up this week.
