Leamington Cricket Club 2nd XI v Walmley on Sat 10 May 2014 at 12.30
Match was Abandoned 5 points each

Match report The weather spoiled a fascinating encounter at Arlington Avenue on Saturday, with Leamington's second string in hot pursuit of Walmley's target. Stumps were drawn with Steve Dyer 21 not out, and Ollie Currill undefeated on 30, leaving Leamington on 73 - 1 after only 14 overs.

Earlier, Leamington had produced a mixed performance in the field with a number of chances shelled. Currill bowled an impressive opening spell, without luck, as Walmley passed 90 without losing a wicket. The introduction of Harj Singh and Max Webber turned the innings in Leamington's favour; Webber's 3 - 35 restricting Walmley to 175 - 5 in 37 overs. Leamington's generosity extended to 43 extras, including 24 runs as a penalty for a funereal over rate.
