Leamington Cricket Club 4th XI v MOSELEY 4th X1 on Sat 28 May 2011 at 1300
Leamington Cricket Club Won by One Wicket

Match report Leamington scraped home in a nail-biting finish. On a wicket offering some help to the bowlers, both Leamington and Moseley showed frailty with the bat. Moseley were asked to bat first and were soon in trouble, as no batsman passed 20. Joe Jones took 4 for 22, and Mark Ryan 3 for 11, as Moseley were dismissed for 89, a total boosted by 26 extras. Dan Mills (2 wickets) and Paul Lawrence (one wicket) offered excellent support, and Leamington took several fine catches.

Leamington's response was poor with the top order unable to cope with some fine seam bowling. However Rob Smith dropped anchor and his 39 seemed to have edged Leamington home. A late order collapse handed the initiative to Moseley, but last pair Patrick Mills and Ryan, scraped together the 11 runs required, to give Leamington a barely-deserved one wicket win. Wazeem took 6 wickets for Moseley.
