Match report Leamington were frustrated by Aston Manor's tailenders on Saturday, in a home match played at Warwick County Council's Myton Road ground.

Leamington batted first and made a bright start through Dan Mills (35) and Dan McCarthy (26). From the comfort of 73 - 1, Leamington stumbled and were grateful for a captain's knock from Ken Hopkins. His 31* enabled Leamington to close on a challenging 157 - 8 on a slow, low wicket.

Manor's top order failed to play to the conditions, playing off the back foot too often. Nathan Credgington found some movement, and took the first five wickets to fall. A single for Lewis Baker was scant reward, but Mark Ryan's three cheap wickets seemed to guarantee Leamington victory. Manor's Rake had other ideas and his 31*, combined with Leamington's inability to bowl straight enough, allowed the visitors to escape with a draw on 108 - 9.
