Leamington Cricket Club Under 16 v HIGHWAY on Fri 01 Jul 2011 at 1800
Leamington Cricket Club Lost By 10 Runs
Match report
Leamington U16s suffered their first defeat of the season as they lost by 10 runs to Highway C.C. Highway batted first and their total of 136-6 was based around an aggressive 71 from Warwickshire youth player, Gul. Jeffs (3-1-8-1) and Wilson (4-0-21-1) bowled tightly in the middle overs to restrict Highway to 136. In reply, Leamington were always behind the rate despite Dan Mills (25) and Somra (28*) doing their best to secure Leamington another victory. In the end, the target was just out of the reach and Leamington finished on 126-5.
