Badsey 2nd XI v Leamington Cricket Club 4th XI on Sat 12 May 2012 at 13:30
Leamington Cricket Club Won by 8 Wickets

Match report A belated start to the season saw Leamington 4th XI travel to Badsey for their opening fixture in CHL Division 6.

Having plied their trade for the last two seasons around the back streets of Birmingham it was refreshing to take in the Cotswold air!

Badsey were asked to bat first, and a strong bowling performance from Leamington saw wickets fall at regular intervals. Only Joe Gisbourne reached double fixtures, his 27* the highlight of Badsey's paltry 59 All Out. The wickets were shared amongst six bowlers with two apiece for Lewis Baker, James Cutts and the evergreen Mark Ryan, with singles for Dan Mills, Asad Saghzai and Matthew Davison.

In response Leamington struggled a little losing two wickets, but they eased to 60 for 2 in the 22nd over, with Mark Davison and Patrick Mills, unbeaten at the close.
