Leamington Cricket Club 4th XI v Kineton II on Sat 22 Jun 2013 at 1.30pm
Leamington Cricket Club Won by 158 Runs
Match report
Leamington 4th team returned to winning ways with a demolition of Kineton 2nd XI.
Batting first on a good track, Leamington opened with a century stand from Paul Wilson (35) and James Cowan. A further large stand between Cowan and James Cutts (34) saw Leamington pass 200. Cowan went on to make 147, his second century of the season, and aided by 28 from David Lord, Leamington took tea on 287 - 6.
Kineton were never in the hunt and early wickets from Dan Mills and Billy Hallett maintained Leamington's dominance. The crafty Mark Ryan accelerated Kineton's demise as he took 5 for 5 in 7 overs. Debutant Robert Lord made an impressive start, and was rewarded with a wicket as Kineton ended on 129 All Out in the 33rd over.
