Leamington Cricket Club 4th XI v Stoneleigh on Sat 24 Aug 2013 at 1.30pm
Leamington Cricket Club Won by 7 Wickets
Match report
Leamington moved to the top of the table with a comfortable win over previous league leaders Stoneleigh. Batting first on a flat wicket Stoneleigh accumulated steadily and took tea on 214 - 9, a challenging but reachable total. For Spa, Mark Ryan took 4 - 52 and James Wilson 4 - 32.
Despite losing an early wicket, Leamington were always in command as Rob Ainscow set about Stoneleigh making 65. He played second fiddle to Billy Hallett, in the form of his life, making another match winning score, this time 113*.
Leamington will be promoted as champions, if they avoid a heavy defeat in their final league game on Saturday.
